The original dragonfly was made for an exhibition and is definitely the design I have been asked for most often. This is a smaller, more dainty version of the original. The dragonfly is worked in:
Size 11 and 15 seed beads
14, 10 and 8mm Swarovksi stones
3 and 4mm crystals
6mm pearls are used for the head section.
The completed dragonfly can be stitched to an extra long brooch pin.
This design is suitable for more experienced beaders who are comfortable working with good thread tension and a variety of stitches.
